Good Reads

Mo Hayder is one of my new favorite authors. She writes crime fiction with a wonderful darkly twisted and creepy vibe. I am pretty picky about books and I find her Walking Man series to be highly entertaining. She researches her stories well enough that I don't have to cringe at her take on forensics. There are authors out there that have spent lots of time studying crime investigation and still get it all wrong. If you can stomach horrific stories about child murderers, cops hiding bodies, the upside down world of drug addicts, and dark chills, then you might be interested in picking up one of her books.
