Proper Zombie Apocalypse Footwear
These babies arrived today and were on my doorstep when I got home from work. They fit like a dream and will be perfect for our trip. Comfortable, stylish, and bad ass. This is my first pair of Dr. Martens, I chose well.
O got some relatively good news yesterday. My enlarged aortic root is enlarged, but at the small safe level of enlargement. I'm not sure how we'll proceed, I need to get established with my new cardiologist, but the vacation is fine and I can still ride to work and jog with the dog. Mentally, I feel way better and expect to improve as I get used to my "condition". Deep sigh of relief.
This is an extreme example. The whole Marfan thing is still out there, because this is something people with Marfan have. There should be no surprise that I can't even fall in line and be easily diagnosed with some sort of disorder.
But I now have the coolest boots ever, so that's nice.

Lots of heart issues going on.
